Acer has announced two new laptops - TravelMate B3 and TravelMate Spin B3. The new products will be the first models running the operating system for general education schools and will come pre-installed with Windows 11 SE and Windows 11 Pro Educationfor. TravelMate B3 and TravelMate Spin B3 are equipped with updated Pentium Silver and Celeron processors from Intel and come with 11.6-inch displays. Both new products are MIL-STD 810H certified and equipped with shock-absorbing inserts, which will prevent serious damage to the device in the event of an impact of up to 60 kg or a fall from a height of 1.22 meters. Laptops also have a dehumidification system and a keyboard with a mechanical mount that provides easy replacement. In addition, school-oriented gadgets boast an Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) network module with 2x2 MU-MIMO technology for multi-user connectivity and an auxiliary 4G LTE adapter that will provide wireless connectivity in the absence of a Wi-Fi router. The laptops are equipped with a webcam and a battery with a stated battery life of up to 10 hours. The main difference between the TravelMate Spin B3 and the TravelMate B3 is the Acer Antimicrobial Design antibacterial coating with silver ions, which is present both on the touch screen and on the keyboard, touchpad and palm rest. In addition, users can choose additional modules for TravelMate Spin B3 in tablet mode - Wacom AES stylus and a five-megapixel HDR camera, which is located above the keyboard. Acer TravelMate B3 and TravelMate Spin B3 will go on sale in the Russian market in the first quarter of 2022. Laptop prices will be announced later.
